2027 ELECTION : In the bid for the next Governorship election in Imo State Nigeria, diaspora Imolites have finally presented Chief Charles Orie to contest this exalted position to balance the equitable distribution of power in the State.
At an unifying gathering of creme- de- la creme of Imo Sons and Daughters anchored in Canada over the weekend, and asserted that Chief Charles Orie is best match for the Owerri Zone slot.
Speakers at the event called Charles Orie ‘a man of the people ‘ full of wisdom, humility and deep compassion. They further highlighted his team spirit & strong leadership qualities, insisting that he’s the ideal leader to bring positive change to Imo State.
However, the event was filled with celebration and excitement, making it a truly memorable occasion for all in attendance to maximally approve Chief orie.
Orie was overwhelmingly gratified by the support and thunderous endorsement of his Guber aspiration for 2027.
Imo diaspora argued that it is time to for the diaspora to produce the next IMO GOVERNOR, emphasizing that Orie has been a dedicated member of the Nigerian diaspora in Canada for yrs .
Chief Orie assured Imolites of his honorable consideration and readiness to bring back to the state enormous economical growth and balance in technological advancement and welfare of the generality of Ndi Imo around the globe.
9News Nigeria reports that Charles Orie hails from the Orlu zone but very seriously, he has shown maximum readiness for the contest against the Owerri zone mantra of “EQUITABLE DISTRIBUTION OF POWER” to an Owerri person to synchronize the state Charter of Equity endorsed and signed by Imo elders council and IMHA.

Again, from investigation, Owerri zone in the recent political geographical map has nine local government areas, Orlu zone has twelve while Okigwe zone has six LGAs.
Unless otherwise, more LGAs and some autonomous communities may likely be created to strike a balance, Charter of Equity is expected to prevail.
