The Department of State Services (DSS) has successfully recaptured Abdulaziz Obadaki, a notorious Ansaru terrorist long sought for his role in the deadly 2012 attack on the Deeper Life Bible Church College in Otite, Kogi State.

Obadaki, who had been on the run for years, is believed to be one of the masterminds behind the assault, which claimed several lives and left many seriously injured.

Security sources reveal that the DSS, acting on fresh intelligence and working closely with other security agencies, tracked Obadaki to his hideout before apprehending him in a coordinated operation.

Officials described the arrest as a major breakthrough in ongoing efforts to dismantle Ansaru’s operational structure and neutralize its remaining leadership.

The recapture of Obadaki is seen as a significant step toward justice for the victims of the 2012 attack, which shocked the nation and drew widespread condemnation.
