The Department of Finance and Account of the Economic Community of West African States has been razed by fire last night Tuesday 4th August 2020.
The inferno gutted a section of the ECOWAS, located in Asokoro District of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja Nigeria.
First responders including firefighters and other security agencies have since been drafted to the affected building.
A senior official of the commission confirmed the fire outbreak to 9News Nigeria
The official said the fire had already been put out.
Source of the inferno is not revealed.
