Ex Gov Ohakim of Imo state has just escaped death as unknown gunmen attacked his convoy killing four policemen at Umualumaku. This is another tragedy in the state as people are enjoying their New Year holiday at various Communities.
The incident happened at the time of this report while the ex GOVERNOR was on a convoy between Isiala Mbano and Ehime Mbano LGAs of Imo state when the Ex-Governor was heading for a function via Umualumaku Mbano Imo state.
Information gathered was that The Ex Gov were in a bullet proof SUV which aided their escape even then the rampaging gunmen shattered the tyres his driver still drove off and escaped from the gunmen who ran after the driver but missed them at a junction.
The identify of the policeman shot by the unidentified gun men will soon be released by the police While the state has swing into immediate investigation to unravel the attackers.
