Breaking: Factional PDP Group Scuttles Inauguration Of Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Council In Imo

Imo- People’s Democratic Party PDP members this evening flew away from the party secretariat for the fear of killings and destructions of properties in Owerri Imo State office.

This came as a result staged managed meeting by leaders, critical stakeholders and prominent members of PDP in Imo State to establish the party presidential candidate’s campaign council In Imo State.

However the meeting was boycotted by unknown persons who stormed into the venue to disrupt a purported inauguration of a campaign council for the PDP Presidential candidate for criminal alteration.

Our correspodent reports that those earlier nominated and approved as members of the PDP Presidential campaign council in Imo state were said to have criminally removed and replaced with people of questionable character leading to the altercation.

Our newsmen gathered that the PDP Imo state has describes those linked to such criminal alteration as enemies of PDP and the party’s Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

The party members are adviced to stay calm as efforts are on to reconcile the list.

Contrarily, opposition hinted that the disagreement is between the Emeka Ihedioha and that of Samuel Anyanwu’s faction.

Both Duo are struggling for superiority and power play in Imo PDP which may divide the party to loose focus on the forthcoming Elections.

Meanwhile, our investigation reveales that those Armed thugs who stormed the venue to scuttle the ATIKU campaign council in Owerri were not sent by PDP Nat’l National Secretary, Senator Anyanwu as alleged.
