The Federal Government of Nigeria, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has officially released the withheld allocations for Rivers State to the newly appointed Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas.
The Sole Administrator has confirmed that the withheld local government allocations have been released. He stated that necessary measures will be taken to ensure the prompt payment of workers’ salaries.
Ibas expressed concern over the plight of workers who have been suffering due to delayed salary payments resulting from the ongoing crisis in the state.
