The Nigerian Army Headquarters Abuja @HQNigerianArmy experienced a minor fire incident this morning which was put under control immediately, 9News Nigeria has learnt.
According to the information made available to 9News Nigeria, an electrical fault had sparked a minor fire incident at the Army Headquarters Complex, Abuja, Tuesday morning.
A statement by the Director Army Public Relations Brigadier General Muhammed Yerima says,the incident occurred at about 10.15am as a result of minor electrical fault in one of the offices.
The Nigerian Army Fire Service Department immediately put out the fire with out casualty.
Brigadier General Yerima notes that the Army Headquarters complex is currently undergoing renovation.
He affirmed that everything is under control.
