Suspected Hoodlums on Thursday afternoon attacked Ikoyi Prison in Lagos State.
According to an eyewitness who doesn’t want his name in Print, said the hoodlums burnt down the prison and sent many inmates free.
Speaking with our correspondent, the eyewitness confirmed that the hoodlums injured some wardens that are on duty during the attack while others ran away over fear of mob action.
9news Nigeria recalls that many police stations have been burnt in Lagos State after thugs hijacked the EndSARS Protests rocking the country.
Similarly, a popular media organisation TVC and The Nation Newspaper rumoured to being owned by the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Asiwaju Bola Tinubu were set ablaze on Wednesday.
