Umuguma Police Division in Imo state Nigeria has been attacked and property worth millions burnt down early this morning by unidentified Gunmen.
Umuguma Police station is located in Owerri West local government area of Imo state close to the Owerri West local government headquarters.
The unidentified Gunmen allegedly set the station ablaze after having rounds of shooting of series of guns.
Our source in the area told 9news Nigeria Owerri that the shootings have lasted for hours and no Intervention from the state commad till the time of this report.
While our state correspodents have swiftly moved to the scene of incident to confirm the actual cause of the attack as at the time of this breaking alert, the law enforcement Officials are said to have got the hints to move for actions.
Series of gun shoots of different sounds was said to have kept the people of the area awake till the time of this report.
This incident happened Saturday morning March 19,2022 as at the time of this report.
