Juventus have sacked Maurizio Sarri, according to reports, after the team’s disappointing exit from the UEFA Champions League. The Serie A giants, who had just won their 9th consecutive league title, were eliminated from the Champions League last night by Lyon on the away goals rule, despite winning 2-1 on the night.

Reports indicated that following the defeat, the club’s management and fans became been unimpressed with the 61-year-old veteran and have shown him the exit door after just one season with the Italian champions.
