Senator Rabiu Musa, Kwankwaso the immediate past Governor of Kano State has formally moved to New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP to enable him accomplish his ambition to be Nigeria President from 2023.
Kwankwaso decampment was consummated in Anambra State in a two days intensive meeting on Sunday and today Monday presided by the National Chairman of NNPP, Dr Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam.
Making his reasons for leaving the People Democratic Party – PDP known, Kwankwaso said: “The All Progressive Congres APC and the People Democratic Party- PDP have nothing new to offer Nigerians”.
Kwankwaso was accompanied by some stalwarts and supporter of his former party, the Peoples Democratic Party – PDP
Amongst other contingents who followed the former Kano State Governor to Anambra State was his support group known as ‘Kwankwasia Movement’.
The leader of Kwankwasia Movement asserted that both the APC and PDP have nothing new to offer Nigerians, hence patriotic Nigerians who truly desire a new nation need to think of the right party to support.
Stressing further, “I didn’t see anything that either APC or PDP will show or tell Nigerians to get convinced and vote for them in the coming 2023 elections. So I think people should now come to think of the right party and people to support and vote for so that we can rescue the present situation we find ourselves in this country”.
Receiving them into the party, the National Chairman of NNPP, Dr Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam, who hosted the meeting said, “though it’s not all politicians we can accept in New Nigeria People’s Party – NNPP, but we know the pedigree of His Excellency Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, therefore we receive Your Excellency with open arms”.
Present in the meeting among other NNPP National Leaders are the National Secretary Amb Major Agbo Gilbert; National Head of Research, Planning and Strategy, General Dipo Olayoku and others
