Few days to go to the polls for the Ngor Okpala constituency Imo House of Assembly Bye-Election to cover the space created by the former Assembly member who was suspended by the Speaker of the state house on the grounds of unethical conduct which gave way for the Scheduled upcoming bye- Election in the area.
9News Nigeria correspodent gathered that the major contestants are the Opposition Peoples’ Democratic Party PDP and that of the All Progressives Congress Party APC which Blyden Amajirionwu is the preferred candidate as rated by the Ngor Okpala Electorates.
However, there are speculations against his candidature across the media space. The speculations is truly affecting his Political strength but the vibrant leader has continued to move on despite all odds. He has assured Ngor Okpala APC and the generality of the people of quality leadership unlike ever done in the area if voted for.
Contrary to the news been peddled by harbingers of fake news and opposition to the accelerated candidature of Okenze Blyden Amajirionwu as reported by his campaign team, Amajirionwu group maintained that the acclaimed news is to glorify the shying away of Emeka Ihedioha to visit the hometown of Okenze Blyden in Ntu community today which was because the PDP chieftain lacks the morale to confront the popularity already established by Okenze Amajirionwu in his own community.
The group stated that it is to disappointment of PDP that he has galvanized the stakeholders and the people of Ngor Okpala ahead of the by-election. This only shows how much of a people oriented representative he stands for.
In their words, “While the opposition and detractors of goodwill and development of Ngor Okpala people will continue to cook up stories to suit their present psychological disposition, we will continue to be keeping it 1000s step ahead of them and turn their nefarious acts into success as today’s meeting was fruitful and hitch free as well as ways to win the election as a united party was chatted.
“It is obvious that the opposition has nothing to offer to the good people of Ngor Okpala if not lies, propaganda and hate speech which only confirms our stand that the opposition PDP is only buying time to rig their way rather than engage in issue based campaign.
The Amajirionwu group therefore advise the opposition PDP to quit their childish comical conspiracies as it is a tall dream and a wishful thinking if they think they people of Ngor Okpala are gullible and could be swayed with lies and propaganda and equally realise that Okenze Blyden Amajirionwu remains unstoppable until the Ngor Okpala is salvaged.
They added that the good people of Ngor Okpala should remain resolute and committed to the project of Okenze Blyden Amajirionwu as the set time for their emancipation and progressive representation has come and definitely must come true.
“The candidature of Okenze Blyden Amajirionwu will continue to be a threat to the opposition and their antics as they are already seeing the handwriting on the wall and the voice of Ngor Okpala people calling unto Okenze Blyden Amajirionwu to represent them for quality development, the group hinted.
It is the believe of both contestants to be given a fare contest to allow the people choose their latest House member in the Imo state Assembly.
