Says actions are in good faith
It seems that the opposition to the emergence of Senator Andy Uba as the guber candidate of the APC is whittling down by the day as another aspirant in the person of Dr Amobi Nwokafor today congratulated Senator Andy Uba and pledged his support to Uba’s gubernatorial ambition.
Nwokafor stated this in a congratulatory message to Uba this evening.
In the message, Nwokafor stated that he was taking such act in good faith as well as towards ensuring that the APC presents a unified front for the November 6 polls.
The message read as thus:
“Following immense consultations with my supporters and members of my campaign council, I Dr. Amobi Nwokafor FCA, Ozo Awka (IV) and guber aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the recently held guber primaries congratulates the winner of the primaries, Sen. Andy Uba and pledge my support to him as our party’s guber candidate.
I do this in good faith and towards ensuring that the APC presents a unified front for the November 6th polls. “
In this stead, Dr. Amobi also paid a congratulatory visit to Senator Uba. He was received by Senator Uba, Chief Sir Paul Chukwuma Director General of Campaign Organization and other members such as Ambassador Jerry Ugokwe, Hon. Obi Okoli and Chief Johnbosco Anaedobe.
