The Leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has launched Eastern Security Network to tackle insecurity.
Nnamdi Kanu made this known in a live broadcast monitored by 9news Nigeria.
Announcing the security outfit, Nnamdi Kanu who referenced Amotekun and Miyetti Allah security outfits, said, it becomes important following the incessant killings across the country, stating that the newly launched security outfit will safeguard the forest and neighborhood in the old eastern region.
Recounting the recent killings by Fulani Herdsmen and bandits across the Northern states, including Benue (Middle Belt), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, warned that on no account should any sitting governor or any Nigerian government official doubt the resolve of IPOB to secure the entirety of South East and South South against the invading Fulani Herdsmen.
According to him, “any attempt to jeopardize the lives of Biafrans will be resisted “We have come to die for what we believe in, we have come that we may be free,” Mazi Nnamdi Kanu added.
The founder Radio Biafra also dispelled the assertion that the security network are Biafran Army. He said; “the aim of launching Eastern Security Network (ESN) is to protect lives and properties and to further ensure terrorists who had made their way into Nigeria, doesn’t have liberty to dwell in Biafra land.
