Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki has called on the PDP leadership to dissolve the state’s party executives from state to ward level in order to allow him reorganise the party structure as soon as possible.
According to a reliable source who pleaded anonymity with 9News Nigeria reporter, the newly reelected governor of Edo state threatened that if the party’s state executives are not dissolved down to the ward level and handed over to him to see to its reorganisation, that he may not work well with the current party executives in the state for some alleged misgivings.
The source said that Obaseki said in his words: “Dissolve party executives from State to Ward level and handover all the party structure to me before February or I won’t give appointment to any PDP members except those persons who decamped with me from APC.”
Meanwhile, 9News Nigeria reporter called the governor twice in an attempt to confirm the information, but his phone rang severally without being picked.
