A breaking news reaching 9News Nigeria has it that the National Chairman of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC) Adams Oshiomhole has been in shock after receiving the news of his chairmanship suspension by the Abuja Court of Appeal on Tuesday.
According to the report, which was headlined “BREAKING!! Oshiomhole Allegedly In Coma After Appeal Court Judgement (Photos),” Oshiomhole was allegedly in coma after receiving the bad news. 9News Nigeria have made attempts to confirm this story but to no avail as at time of filing this report.
Recall that 9News Nigeria had earlier reported on the new development amid ‘APC EDO CRISIS’ that Abuja Court of Appeal has endorsed Oshiomhole’s suspension as APC Chairman.
An FCT High Court had on March 4 granted an application by six members of the APC in Edo State suspending Oshiomhole from office.
A three member panel of justices led by the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem held that Oshiomhole’s appeal challenging his suspension was unmeritorious.
Today’s judgement by the Abuja Court of Appeal came on the same day Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State resigned his membership of the APC, after meeting with Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, the Chief of Staff (CoS) to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Villa.
Adams Oshiomhole has been at fierce political loggerhead with the Edo state incumbent governor, Godwin Obaseki which resulted to Obaseki’s dump of APC party and joining PDP party.
