As the official announcement of Osun state governorship election results by the Local Government Area LGA returning officers continues, 9News Nigeria correspondent covering the election reports that an INEC official in Ayedaade LGA has been arrested after he was caught mutilating results pasted at INEC office in Gbongan.
The culprit claimed he was directed by the Electoral officer and Collation officer to tear off the results.
As at the time of this report, he is being taken to the police station NOW.
9News Nigeria correspondent reports that the official results announced so far give PDP candidate, Adeleke the lead with a slim margin.
The winner will most likely be determined by the result from Oshogbo which is yet to be announced.
