Ahead of the November 11 Governorship Election in Imo state, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC is organising mock election in preparation of the actual election coming up in few weeks time across the zones.
Information reaching our News desk has it that Owerri West local government area among the LGAs selected for the exercise is currently leading in the votes casted for the All Progressives Congress, APC so far.
The Majority Leader of Imo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Kanayo Onyemaechi (Egbe) and other dedicated leaders in ow west in their great numbers are on ground mobilizing voters for the exercise.
This implies that Owerri West is 4/4 for Uzodinma’s re-election come November 11. But regrettedly political oppositions are seriously working codedly to submerge the leading All Progressives Congress.
But following the troops of defectors from PDP LP, APGA, AA into APC, the November Governorship Election is a done deal for APC.
Majority Leader’s polling unit/ electoral Booth in Oforola Owerri West tops the highest in the entire senatorial zones listed with 69 votes. Others are Ngor Okpala 50, Obowo 17, Ihite Uboma 34, Isiala Mbano 33, Aboh Mbaise 28, Ideato South 13, Nkwere 16, and Ohaji Egbema.
From the details above, Owerri West emerges the overall highest in the 2023 Governorship mock accreditation as investigated by our correspondent in Owerri.
