Breaking: Plateau Government further relaxes curfew on Jos-Bukuru metropolis

In light of the improved security situation in Jos-Bukuru metropolis the Plateau State Government has further relaxed the curfew, effective today, Thursday August 08, 2024.

Residents are now permitted to move freely for their lawful activities from 12noon to 6pm daily until further notice.

In statement signed by Gyang Bere, Director of Press and Public Affairs to Governor Mutfwang reads that, In consultation with the security agencies, has authorized this relaxation. He assured the public that the government will continue to make decisions in the best interest of the people.

Governor Mutfwang commended the public for their peaceful conduct during the curfew and appealed for continued cooperation with the security agencies to ensure the safety and security of the state.
