In an amateur video seen by 9News Nigeria correspondent, Nigerian Nobel prize winner, Prof Wole Soyinka was said to have narrowly escaped a murder attempt by hoodlums alleged to be Fulani herdsmen.
A voice was heard in the video reporting the incident in Yoruba language, saying that it just happened today 10th February 2021; that some fellows suspected to be Fulani herdsmen broke into the home of Prof Wole Soyinka, and attempted to murder the 86 years old Akinwande Oluwole Babatunde Soyinka, popularly known as Wole Soyinka.
The video showed Ogun state police station as the man explained and claimed that the Fulani herdsmen were taken to the police station.
