#FreeSowore protesters on Thursday, September 19th stormed the Nigeria Consulate and United Nations Plaza, demanding the unconditional release of the convener of #RevolutionNow protests, Omoyele Sowore.
It was earlier reported that the Department of State Service (DSS) are charging the activist over alleged treasonable felony.
He is also being charged for ‘insulting the president’, ‘cyberstalking’ Buhari, ‘conspiracy to commit treason’, among other charges.
Recall hat Sowore has been in the custody of the DSS since August 2.
Justice Taiwo had on August 8 ordered the detention of the Sahara Reporters publisher for 45 days at the instance of the DSS to enable the secret police carry out and conclude its investigation on allegations levied against him.
