The death toll from a blaze at a shopping centrel in Russia has risen to 37, according to local authorities.
The fire erupted in the town of Kemerovo, a coal-mining centre in Siberia which is 3,600km (2,200 miles) east of Moscow.
Earlier figures reported that at least 12 were killed and 69 were unaccounted for due to the blaze.
At least 40 of those missing were children, according to local news agencies and it is believed that children are among the dead.
The shopping centre, which contains cinemas, restaurants and shops was evacuated when the blaze was first spotted.
Some witnesses to the blaze have claimed that the shopping centre also contained a zoo with domestic animals, including goats and cats.
It is not known if the fire caused any animal fatalities.
Footage broadcast on Russian television showed individuals leaping from the windows of the shopping centre which was engulfed in black smoke.
