Bandits have prevented an AZMAN aircraft scheduled for Lagos from take off on Saturday, from Kaduna airport, 9news Nigeria can report authoritatively.
A source confirmed to 9news Nigeria that a staff of NAMA was shot and killed by the bandits around the runway area of the airport.
The source said that the AZMAN aircraft could not take off at about 12.30pm because of the presence of the bandits by the runways of the airport.
‘’As I speak to you now, there is already military presence to beef up security , though most of the staff are scared with the killing of the NAMA staff, the source said.
The source said more than 10 trucks of the military are at the airport presently for reinforcement.
These are not ordinary bandits, you don’t want to call a spade a spade but it is. This is Boko Haram no more no less.
Why must we wait for this kind of embarrassment to happen. Its well known that, the airport area up to NDA is a bandit infested area and yet we cannot take proactive measures to stop the miscreants from harming the innocent ones.
