The Brotherhood of the Cross and Star Church has responded to the trending leaked video showing members destroying an image of their leader, O.O. Obu, at the church altar.
During a press conference at the church headquarters in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, the leadership addressed the viral video. They clarified that the individuals seen vandalizing the portrait of O.O. Obu in the Celestial Kingdom were not members of their church.
The church leader emphasized that the people involved in the destruction were hoodlums and not true followers of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. He stated that genuine members would never engage in such actions due to their awareness of the spiritual implications.
He further assured that there is no crisis within the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star; the issue at hand is merely a leadership struggle, which will be resolved in due time.
