The British Prime Minister, Theresa May Wednesday arrived the Presidential wing of the Muritala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos at about 4.20 pm amid tight security and red carpet reception. May arrived the airport aboard Royal Air Force plane.
This is just as security personnel deployed to strategic areas around the Presidential wing prevented air reporters from gaining access to the wing. Lounge had been the operating base of aviation reporters for more than 20 years before the late National Security Adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan , General Patrick Azazi chased them out of the lounge citing “security reasons” in 2012 .
The major road linking the local wing of the airport to the international section was adored, at interval, with Nigeria and the British flags and security personnel , especially the conventional police deployed at different locations.
