They are in Aso Villa for the National Police Council meeting presided over by President Bola Tinubu.

It is not clear whether the meeting which has several governors in attendance will find a way of mending the estranged relationship between Governor Fubara, and his predecessor, Wike.

The two political gladiators were seen shaking hands and exchanging pleasantries to the admiration of the media and fans.

Recall that Rivers State has been on fire following the impeachment proceedings launched against Fubara by the Rivers State House of Assembly on Monday, March 31,2023.

9News Nigeria hopes that the President and other stakeholders will use the opportunity of the meeting to broker peace between the two Rivers political heavyweights.
