Earlier today, we received information regarding a tragic incident involving a young girl named Cynthia Chukundah, who is from Oduoha in the Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State. It is alleged that she set her boyfriend, Sunny Amadi, from Elibrada in the same local government area, on fire, resulting in his death.
According to our sources, Cynthia is a third-year student at the University of Port Harcourt, where Sunny is also a student. The couple had reportedly been experiencing serious issues in their relationship, and Cynthia had allegedly threatened Sunny’s life multiple times. Despite these threats, Sunny did not take them seriously.
There are claims that Cynthia once stabbed Sunny with a piece of broken glass during a dispute. It was reported that they had spent the night together in Sunny’s apartment on campus. Suddenly, neighbors noticed that the room was on fire and discovered that Sunny had been set ablaze by Cynthia. They rushed him to the hospital, but he was sadly pronounced dead upon arrival.
Cynthia is currently on the run and has not yet been located at the time of filling this report.
