This message is for the unreasonable, insensitive and inhumane jesters, those making mockery and caricature of President Muhammadu Buhari’s health challenges and situation.
I want to say that it is ungodly, un-African and un-Christlike to rejoice over another man’s problems. For we Christians, we are admonished to rejoice with those rejoicing, and mourn with those mourning.
Christians are commanded to pray for the sick so they can be healed and regain their health. Therefore, I don’t know where all this people rejoicing over the ill health of President Buhari, and wishing him death, especially the Christians among them are getting their inspiration from.
I’m not Buhari’s fan, and I doubt if I will become one tomorrow, but not withstanding, I don’t wish him death nor am I rejoicing over his sickness. Some time last year, I saw in a vision where he died, then I came to Church the next service and raised prayer against such vision, we prayed fervently against whatever would cause his death.
Aside the fact that he is the President of Nigeria, people should realise that he is first and foremost, someone’s husband, sibling, father and grandfather. So does those wishing him death and falsely proclaiming his death consider the effects of their actions on him and those with family ties with him?
Criticising his government and policies is allowed, I do that because it’s legal, and it can help in bringing change, but cursing him, wishing him dead and proclaiming him dead when he is much alive is nothing but wickedness. On that count me out.
People should be wise and reasonable, and remember that what goes round comes around.
Enough is enough, this is a call for people to repent from this madness and stop wishing evil to their fellow man.
