Special Adviser to the President on Media, Daniel Bwala has stated that it is not legitimate to call for the resignation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Bwala made the remarks on Channels TV today, referencing a past political stance.
“When Asiwaju called for then-President Goodluck Jonathan to resign, it was a legitimate call.
“Now, it’s not legitimate to call for President Tinubu’s resignation.” He said.
The comments follow ongoing discussions about security challenges in Nigeria.
The issue of presidential accountability continues to be a topic of national debate, with citizens, civil society groups, and political actors weighing in on the government’s handling of insecurity across the country.
