American rapper and singer, Cardi B has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to be the Democratic Party’s candidate for the United States presidential election in 2024 after incumbent Joe Biden dropped his reelection bid.
The US rapper had initially recommended that Kamala Harris take over from Joe Biden after his woeful performance at the debate with the Republican Party candidate, Donald Trump.
“Aha hahaha let’s go! I told y’all Kamala (Harris) was supposed to be the 2024 candidate… Stop f*ckin playin with me!”. She wrote via her X handle.
Cardi B explained that she didn’t want to vote in the November poll if Joe Biden remains the candidate of the Democrat party, adding that she always envisioned Trump as a threat.
Another American singer who endorsed Kamal Harris is Ariana Grande.
Grande made this known by sharing a picture of the President and his Vice through her Instagram story, urging her followers to register to vote for the Democratic Party in November.
“Register to vote”. She wrote beneath the shared picture.
