I am committed to this without inhibitions because of Brand Charles Orie, my brother, my friend, and a man many call their Destiny helper, “Omenneji, Omenwanne and Omerebere” I am sure many will wonder how I can come boldly to the fore to describe this fellow Diasporan these ways . To unravel these, please come with me on the Imo Progressives for change flight towards 2027 . We will land safely all for our IMO.
First as my brother, we are Africans, Nigerians , then Igbos, Imolites down to Owerri . Yes !. As my friend, he was my client when, with some of his friends, he patronized the business I managed way back in Abuja.
Many who describe him as their destiny helper with all the aliases aka Omenneji, Omenwanne and Omerebere, they have not stopped making me take the back to back calls to testify of how he had improved their live in the past. These persons know he has a lot of goodwill, and they are ready to attest that he would be a delight as a leader.
A retired occupational nurse lady said thinking of Chief Charles Orie reminds her of the song “Anywhere he went he was doing good .” She said, and i quote…I don’t want to sound blasphemous. I wish I could wake up praying for him . This cracked my ribs as I laughed unconditionally.
I progressed with random option sampling, and I got stories of his growing up in Ofurola Owerri West . His age grades said they would touch the moon to support him to continue doing his good works of riding the society of the menace of abject poverty.
