The victory means that Rosenior is the first manager to since Antonio Conte in 2016 to win his first game in charge of the Blues., and none of the previous managers – including any caretaker and interim bosses before Rosenior-were able to win their first match in charge of the club.
Their records included five draws and four losses, when counting Frank Lampard’s two stints as manager and interim boss separately.
