Since late June, Nigerian music star has been on the media spotlight due to his wedding ceremony to his longtime girlfriend, Chioma.
Davido had revealed that Chioma’s engagement ring’s value is worth more than the combined cost of three Rolls Royce motor cars.
However, many celebrities are fond of making claims when it comes to costs of the jewelry purchased and in most cases this assertions can’t be verified.
Meanwhile, Davido has always been on the trends since his debut into music, showcasing multiple expensive jewelries ranging from high valued watches to high-end necklaces.
The worth of Chioma’s ring
Putting it in perspective, one of the most expensive Rolls Royce cars is the Phantom, which the pricing starts at more than $450,000.
The 2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre likely prices at around $350,000.
Now based on this valuations, it is likely that Chioma’s engagement ring might be worth a staggering $1.2 million which trades for approximately N1,947,892,491 at the exchange rate at the time.
According to reports from American Express, most celebrities spend, on average, $6,000 on an engagement ring.
Many big names spend a lot more than that on rings with examples like, American athlete, Serena Williams who owns a white diamond ring valued at a $3 million or Kim Kardashian’s piece from ex-husband Kanye West worth a whopping $4 million.
