It’s no longer news that Afrobeats artist, Davido married his longtime partner Chioma in Lagos on Tuesday.
The wedding ceremony was heavily serenaded, coupled with the high publicity and lavish celebrations, as it marked a remarkable moment for the Adeleke family of Osun state, especially David the groom.
During the event, in an Instagram live session, Davido revealed that marrying an Igbo woman is not an easy task.
While commenting, he didn’t elaborate more on the topic, every Nigerian knows exactly what Davido meant.
“E no easy. E no easy to marry Igbo woman.” he said.
Recall that Davido had promised his bride’s parents that he would ensure that their daughter is protected, connected and respected in the union.
This wedding event was a complete shutdown in Lagos as many fans joined the celebrations physically and virtually.
