Coalition of Plateau South youths in Plateau State has called on Governor Simon Bako Lalong to contest for the Senatorial seat of the zone in 2023 elections. The decision was made known by the Patriotic youths senatorial zone during a briefing held on sunday in Jos, Plateau state.
Speaking seperately, Mr Nkat Lakai, from Mikang local government who is the president of the group, Ibrahim Donglong from Qua’an pan, Tony Bako from Shendam and several others described the governor as the best governor ever produced by Plateau.
They noted that the governor has proven himself as a man who has the interest of his people at heart and as such, deserves higher position and responsibility.
They stated he has provided and delivered the much needed dividends of democracy to the people. Also, Abubakar Muhammad from Wase, Stephen Sambo from Langtang South praised the governor and urged him to continue with the good works.
“Governor Lalong has brought the needed developments to our people in Plateau South as we are urging all well meaning of the zone to support the governor”
The group also appreciate governor Lalong for bringing the Federal institution to the zone, sitting the Legacy projects, Plateau University Teaching Hospital,Roads network across the zone and many laudable projects.
