The Centre for Values in Leadership (CVL) organizes 69th Edition of Leadership Tribute Colloquium for Baba Oba Chief (Dr) Oladele to Fajemirokun (CDF) on Wednesday December 18th 2024 at Charted Institute of Bankers of Nigeria Victoria Island Lagos.
The Colloquium themed Celebrating a legacy of Innovation and Leadership witnessed the gathering of Distinguished personalities with vast experience in Entrepreneurship Development alongside invited guests with graduands of the Centre for Values in Leadership Training Centre.
The Founder, Centre For Values in Leadership Professor Pat Utomi in his opening remarks reiterated that the honouree today is indeed a distinguished personality who have set landmark records in Entrepreneurship Development that have birthed exception results in Human and Resource Capital not only in Nigeria but across the globe.
One of the assumed truths today is that it takes one motivated generation of to build wealth and other made lazy by the affluence of their upbringing to squander it. This particular example goes well against that trend. Baba Oba Chief Dr John Dele Fajemirokun is well known in to have a built his own empire outside of the Hery Stephens Group that made his father a legend.
Today’s Tribute Colloquium provides an opportunity not just to celebrate his accomplishments but to educate on the nature of family business and how we can lay down a template to make businesses. Thrive across generations with intergenerational wealth transfer that serves economic growth well.

A panel discussion moderated by Prof Pat Utomi alongside distinguished personalities in the Entrepreneurship space, Mr Leonard Kange General Manager Large Enterprise Bank of Industry, Dr Onwuegbuzie Henrietta Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at Lagos Business School, Dr Akin Ogunbiyi Chairman of Mutual Benefits Group and Mr Folu Ayeni CEO Tantalizers PLC where critical issues about Entrepreneurship development were discussed extensively sharing their practical life experiences and questions from the attendees were answered convincingly.
CVL GRADUANDS
He urged them to maximise every coursework done at the institute as they set to get into various means of work engagement.
He was informed that about 500 in collaboration with Lagos State Endowment Trust Fund have been gainfully employed across every sector of the economy in the State.
In an acceptance speech by the CEO Xerox Nigeria Limited Dr. Femi Okunade who represented the Honouree appreciate the organiser and the visionary founder of CVL, Prof Pat Utomi for awarding this to Baba Oba Chief (Dr) Oladele to Fajemirokun (CDF) .
He reiterated that this award is well deserved as he has never regretted his 19 years experience working with him. He also thanked Mr Folu Ayeni for his recommendation to the honouree as this recommendation have indeed changed his life story.

Mr Leonard Kange is Divisional Corporate finance and Advisory services at the Bank of industry where he has served as General Manager Large Enterprises. Prior to his coming to BOI he had served in several positions in Banking and Advisory services in Canada where he worked at the Royal Bank of Canada
DR ONWUEGBUZIE
Dr Onwuegbuzie Henrietta is an associate professor of Entrepreneurship at Lagos Business School, a certified management consultant and IFC certified Management Traineer. She directs the Business Innovation Accelerator, Owner Manager Programme and Impact Investing Initiative at LBS, where she facilitated the creation of over 100 impact driven businesses.
MR FOLU AYENI
Mr Folu Ayeni a distinguished entrepreneur and business leader.He worked with lever brothers as lux toilet soap Product Manager and later became general manager of Marketing at Rank Xerox Nigeria Limited. He further served as Deputy Director at Xerox multifunction HS showcasing his expertise in marketing and management. In 1997 Mr Ayeni Alongside his wife established Tantalizers PLC one of Nigeria’s leading fast food chains demonstrating his visionary leadership and entrepreneurial spirit
DR AKIN OGUNBIYI
Dr Akin Ogunbiyi is a distinguished entrepreneur, author of footprints of a peerless Entrepreneur and thoughts on leadership Business and Entrepreneurship and columnist on leadership and strategy. An alumnus of OAU , Lagos Business School Harvard, Oxford and Yale. He is a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and other prestigious bodies.
