CWG in partnership with Vericash launch a digital banking platform that will be a driver in forming an Ecosystem of Collaborative Mobile Financial Services which will create a seamless Financial Operation for Business in Africa

This launching event by CWG in collaboration with vericash will be 1st Digital Banking Summit themed- Digital: The New Age of Banking which was held at Sheraton, Ikeja, on Friday June 2nd 2022.

This will be an annual event to continually bring stakeholders and concerned digital platforms decision makers together to review and continually make and adopt new development to further upscale this digital platform

The Event featured key stake holders in the financial sector. Mr Joshua Ukute Vice President NAMB the KeyNote Speaker for the event, Guest Speaker includes. Mr Adewale Adeyipo, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of CWG, Mr Ashraf Zaki, Executive Officer CIT Vericash, Mr Taiwo joda, Managing Director and Chief Executive officer of Accion Microfinance Bank , Mr Magdi Elzhari Regional Business Director CIT Vericash.

Mr Adewale Adeyipo Managing Director and chief Executive officer of CWG group believes that this collaboration and partnership is very timely and a veritable tool in addressing the needs as regards banking services of customers.

He commend the interest and acceptance of Vericash who are co partnering in this newly launched platform, it’s an indication that this will definitely give a facelift not the nation’s economy

Mr Joshua Ukute Directory Vice President president NAMB who was the Key Note Speaker for the event reiterated in his key note address the importance of this launching, he believes both parties coming together with similar interest to better upscale the banking sector is a great move which will better the Economical sector.

Participants at the events from different spheres of the financial Sector gave their feedbacks and queries as regards the newly launched digital banking platform which are well addressed by the invited guests facilitators.

Some believe that this new initiative will facilitate the growth of the sector and be of great benefit to them particularly been the end user.

Mr Taiwo Joda the Managing Director Accion Microfinance Bank shared his thought about this newly launched digital banking platform, he said the role of microfinance banks in this newly launched initiative can’t be overemphasied even though it known to be a subsidiary of the big banking platforms , the microfinance institutions serves as a veritable tool in addressing and meeting the urgent needs of Smes and it’s an ideal thing the sector is been carried along.
Mr Asakfi Zaki, executive chairman cit vericash in his remarks believe this partnership to launch this digital banking platform will facilitate the African Economy.
