Nigerian Grammy award winning singer, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known Burna Boy has cancelled his much anticipated concert which was set to hold in South Africa.
The concert was scheduled to be held at the FNB stadium, in Johannesburg on the 23rd of September, 2023.
In a statement by his management on Tuesday, Burna Boy said the concert was called off following the promoters’ inability to meet their obligations.
“Production vendors have still not been paid and as such, it is evident at this point that the agreed production standard needed for this venue size can’t be achieved.”
Burna boy further apologized to his fans.
“Deepest apologies to all fans, all ticketing companies must ensure that it is refunded in full. Looking forward to seeing you all soon”, he said.
