Orders criminal elements to vacate Nnewi immidately
The leadership of Nzukora Nnewi has called on stakeholders, members of the public to desist from trying to sabotage security architecture in the town.
The apex leadership of Nnewi town union, who made the call through the Nzukora Nnewi President General Chief Maduka Atueyi after it’s monthly meeting at Nnewi Youth league hall on Sunday called on all the stakeholders to embrace and support maximum protection of security operatives, who are prepared to send criminal elements out Nnewi.
Chief Maduka Atueyi the president General Nzuko Ora Nnewi who made the call while addressing the press told 9news Nigeria that one of the problems Nnewi Central vigilante has encountered while on duty is the continuous phone calls from some stakeholders in the town seeking for the release of their wads or family relations who was arrested after being linked to criminal activities in Nnewi.
Stressing further, he said that Nnewi Central security will not for any reason arrest any innocent citizens in town. We will not for any reason interfere with our People’s Right. We are here to return Nnewi as the most safest town in Anambra state and that we are not giving up soon on that.
The president also went further to explain that on no account of relationship that his executives nor the security architecture would compromise the security of life and properties of Ndi Nnewi. “Our people must understand that security is everyone’s business and our people should partner with us by providing vital information of any criminals elements in any part of Nnewi and see us in action.”
Finally the Nzukora Nnewi president general ended his statement by giving 9news Nigeria a tip lay down of a huge number of success experienced already by the Nnewi central security who has nabbed about 70 persons on the last count on Saturday since the emergency of operation clean up Hardened criminals in Nnewi by the community based security outfit group and ended by saying that people must understand that no form of inducement will tempt us in compromising our stand for a safer town this time around of our history.
