The DIRECTOR GENERAL of GoodHope FLOURISH FOUNDATION, Hon Humphrey Ikeaka has called on spirited individuals, corporate organizations and NGOs to partner with GHFF to help relive the pains of the less previleged in the state.
While speaking with 9News Nigeria in Owerri, DG Humphrey hinted that GHFF has intervened in the situation of Miss Blessing Amarachi Umunnakwe of Ihiagwa LGA, Owerri.
He futher reports that the said Amarachi a First Class graduate of English Language from Covenant University.
However her visibly distraught father, Deacon TNJ Umunnakwe who brought his daughter’s predicament to the Foundation’s headquarters in Owerri, said Amarachi had graduated with a First Class Honours in 2018 and was offered a scholarship for an MBA by a foreign University when she noticed severe pains on one of her legs which ultimately, required surgery at the UNTH, Enugu.
In the process of the treatment complications manifested which led to her referral to the National Hospital, Abuja, and later to hospitals in Dubai, Egypt or China at the cost of N30,000,000, N15,000,000 and N20,000,000 respectively, with assurances of a corrective surgery with any of the forgoing options.
To this end, we were told that GHFF has offered the sum of N1,000,000 to help pay off her hospital bill.
Sadly, she is lying critically ill at the National Hospital, Abuja at the moment in anticipation for more funds.
GOODHOPE FLOURISH FOUNDATION GHFF wish to extend an appeal to well-meaning individuals, NGOs and Governments at various capacities to help see that her health is salvaged.
The said the first class graduate of English language from Ihiagwa Owerri West was in a serious condition at the time of this report.
