Did you know ‘Rambo’s’ Sylvester Stallone was once homeless?

Popular American actor,Sylvester Stallone is one of only two actors in history (alongside Harrison Ford) to have starred in a box-office No. 1 film across six consecutive decades.

However, it is interesting to know that this prolific actor and filmmaker once resided at a bus station for a period of three weeks, eagerly waiting for job opportunities.

The ‘Rambo’ star once disclosed that he had acted an adultfilm out of desperation after being evicted from his apartment and finding himself homeless for days.

Eventually, he moved to New York City, US, sharing an apartment with his then girlfriend, Sasha Czack, an aspiring actress who supported the pair by working as a waitress.

In 1973, he secured his first proper starring role, in the independent film ‘No Place to Hide’, playing a man who is associated with a New York–based urban terror organization.

Following this event, Stallone starred and directed the renowned sequel, ‘Rocky II’, which soon became a success grossing US$200 million.

In the end, Sylvester Stallone triumphed in the realm of Hollywood, earning him Golden Globe Awards, a People’s Choice Award as well as two British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA).

Stallone is well known for his physically challenging roles and his willingness and capacity to do the majority of his own stunts.
