Diddy charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, obstruction of justice

American music mogul, Sean Diddy Combs has been charged with racketeering, sex trafficking and other crimes.

According to reports reaching 9News Nigeria, Diddy, who was arrested on Monday night at the Park Hyatt hotel in midtown Manhattan, has been charged before a federal judge today.

Diddy’s indictment also includes allegations of violence against women, involving force and intimidation.

The charges traces all allegations to the 2016 Cassie’s incident, where the music executive assaulted her by punching, dragging and kicking.

Additionally, the indictment states that from 2008 to the present, members of the Combs enterprise allegedly engaged in sex trafficking, coercion and enticement to engage in prostitution, narcotics offenses, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice.

However, Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo, has said that he will “fight like hell” to get his client released on bail, insisting on his innocence.
