IMO: The Presidential project commissioning of notable legacy projects embarked upon by the Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma was super successful.
The projects were embarked upon by the shared prosperity administration under Governor Hope Uzodinma as captured by 9News Nigeria.
Recall that few of the edifices captured in the commissioning were established by previous government but the Uzodinma’s led administration changed the narrative by reconstructing, renovation and rebranding.
Concorde Hotel Owerri built decades ago was completely forgotten and abandoned until Gov Uzodinma invested hugely to restore the edifice to a modern status.
The Imo international conference center IICC collapsed to rubbles few months after it was constructed with substandard materials by the rescue government but Uzodinma constructed a new state- of- art international center named after Ahaejiagamba Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu EIICC.
Mbaise/Umuahia express road is an economic busy road abandoned and neglected by several administrations including the shortlived administration of Rt Hon Emeka ihedioha , who’s treasurer lies on that area of the state. Governor Hope Uzodinma sighted the importance of this particular road and brought it to live , same as he reconstructed other federal roads in the State.
Similarly, Governor Uzodinma renovated to standard so other public infrastructures like the Imo State House of Assembly, Imo Government House, Government House chapel and the list is endless.
Meanwhile Governor Uzodinma has built a modern digital center , gave Imo one of the best flyovers are still poised in completing the Orashi Sea Port, Egbema power plant, Nworie beach and massive road construction as 9News Nigeria reports.
At the commissioning, President Bola Ahmed lauded Governor Uzodinma on his massive developmental stride in the state , stating that within his twice tenure, Uzodinma has got an excellent mark on performance.
Governor Uzodinma assured imo people of more more developmental projects and smooth transition of government to Owerri zone. With the above achievements , in completion, Uzodinma will be best Governor after Sam Mbakwe.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s visit in Owerri, Imo State Nigeria was to commission the EIICC, Assumpta Flyover, Mbaise/Umuahia Federal Road, State-of- art modern Digital learning center and the Renovated Concord Hotel captured under Governor Hope Uzodinma’s shared prosperity administration twice tenure.
It is the expectation of Ndi Imo and the South East to benefit from the economic importance this commissioning will bring to the region while charging Governor Uzodinma to continue to finish his good works aimed at rebranding Imo in the national grid.
In addition, recall that dignitaries too numerous to mention joined His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, Some State Governors and notable statesmen for the public presentation of Governor Hope Uzodinma’s book, titled, “A Decade of Impactful Progressive Governance in Nigeria” .
