Few hours ago, His Royal Highness Eze Morrison Eke, Omadike of Umuoma Nekede Autonomous community played host to the new divisional police officer DPO of Nekede/Ihiagwa police division in Owerri West local government area of Imo state.
Information revealed to 9News Nigeria was that CPS Stanley Abiodun and his gallant team visited to familiarize with the traditional ruler of Umuoma Nekede Autonomous community.
The Divisional Police Officer in charge of Nekede Police Division CSP Stanley Abiodun visited Omadike’s palace today in continuation of his familiarization tour of communities under his command .
The police entourage was received at the Obi Eze Umuoma where they met with the principal officers of Umuoma community including The Traditional Prime Minister Nze Sir Chris Obinna Aharanwa and the President General Hon Uchenna Nwaneri, the Woman Leader, Youth leader Nnanna Aharanwa and all the town chairmen.
This visit was to discuss pressing security issues and governance procedure in the community to enable the police effect their legitimate duties without fear or favour.
This will enable the police and the community have a symbiotic relationship to curb crime and Improve Umuoma.
In his reaction, HRH EZE MORRISON EKE, welcomed the police team on behalf of the community and promised to keep in touch with them whenever need be.
The President General PG of Umuoma Nekede Autonomous community, Uche NWANERI thanked the police team for such a prompt visit to identify with the community.
Meanwhile, Umuoma Nekede is safe and hospitable having a wide range of residents and business agencies.
