Federal Government have to open the Nation’s borders as an interim measure and possibly flood the states with essential commodities, as a deliberate effort to bring down the prices of goods.

Nigerians have been admonished not to allow the current economic hardship in the Country to force them into doing things that will ruin their existence.

Media Relations Consultant, Chief Dr Fidel Onyeneke gave the advice in Owerri on Wednesday while reacting to the looting of some Warehouses by certain individuals in parts of the Country.

Chief Onyeneke expressed worries that the hardship might lead some people into unwarranted acts which are capable of leading them to destruction and regrets.
He cautioned against mob actions and violence on the part of the masses,as a desperate effort to make ends means.

The former Special Adviser to Imo Governor on Imo Orientation Agency urged the people to look inwards, and exploit the available Agricultural resources within their environment, rather than engaging in stealing and other nefarious activities.

Chief Onyeneke regretted the situation where people killed and sold fellow human beings in order to make money, and described such acts as barbaric and ungodly.

He further called on the Federal Government to open the Nation’s borders as an interim measure and possibly flood the States with essential commodities, as a deliberate effort to bring down the prices of goods.
