IMHA: Onyemaechi Moves Motion To Admit, Screen, Confirm Uzodinma’s Commissioners, SAs

🟢12 Commissioner nominees, 16 Special Advisers scaled through the process

The Majority Leader Imo State House of Assembly IMHA, Rt Hon Kanayo Onyemaechi earlier in today’s plenary moved the motion to admit, screen and confirm the nominee Commissioners and Special Advisers SAs as made available to the House through a letter from His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma CON.

Twelve (12) commissioner nominees have been screened and confirmed by Imo State House of Assembly as 9News Nigeria reports.

Their screening and confirmation was made possible through a motion moved by the Majority Leader IMHA and member for Owerri West State constituency, Rt Hon Kanayo Onyemaechi.

Rt Hon Onyemaechi seeks to admit the commissioner nominees of the Imo State governor into the chamber for the purpose of screening snd confirmation followed by a letter sent by the Imo state governor, His Excellency Hope Uzodinma bearing the list of commissioner nominees.

At the commencement of plenary, Speaker chike OLEMGBE announced the IMHA had on its executive sitting last week received and considered the list of nominees of Governor Uzodinma and resolve to present them for open screening at the floor of the house today Thursday.

The speaker further revealed that the house also received another letter from the governor requesting the house to approve his appointment of sixteen (16) special advisers in his administration revealing that the house has given a nod to it.

Those screened and confirmed include, Chief Emelumba, Anselm Anyanwu, Ralph Nwosu, Amadi Chimezie, Obinna Everest, Emenike Ejikeme, Benson Abazu, Mmaduba Cosmos, Bede Ekeh, Modestus Osakwe, Obinna Ogwuegbu, Nkechi Ugwu.

This is a welcome development following the call of Imolites on the governor to appoint his aides to make governance smooth and equitable. It is expected of these crops of appiontees to assist the state governor to improve Imo state Nigeria while praying for more lists.
