Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has ordered the freezing of all State bank accounts with immediate effect, until further notice.
The Governor warns commercial banks, Heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs, to comply with the order freezing the account immediately without delay.
Okpebholo also asked the Commissioner of Police to halt the violent cult clashes in the State in 48 hours.
This disclosure was made in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Fred Itua.
