Philip Shaibu, the deputy governor of Do do State has alleged that people are plotting to impeach him.
Shuaibu raised the alarm during a media parley in Abuja on Saturday.
The Edo State deputy governor said the impeachment move was revealed to him by his team.
This public outcry was connected to his emergence as a factional governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Shuaibu had been declared the winner on Thursday from a parallel governorship primary.
He considered himself standing to contest in the forthcoming governorship election on September 21.
This is even as Asue Ighodalo is considered the authentic PDP governorship candidate.
Ighodalo was declared the winner by the returning officer in another PDP governorship primary and Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal last Thursday.
The deputy governor, Shuaibu had a running battle with his bosGovernornor Godwin Obaseki who is said to be backing Ighodalo.
Shuaibu h, ad however, vowed to carry on with his preparations despite the threat of a plot to impeach him using the State House of Assembly.
