Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Kaduna Zonal Directorate, have arrested 11 individuals suspected of engaging in internet fraud in Niger State.

The suspects were apprehended on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at White Hotel in Chanchangi Local Government Area following credible intelligence linking them to fraudulent online activities.

According to the EFCC, items recovered during the operation included two vehicles and 13 mobile phones of different brands.

The commission emphasized that its operatives conducted the arrests professionally, dismissing any claims of misconduct.

It further stated that the suspects would be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
