The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested twenty (23) Internet fraudsters in a sting operation in Makurdi, Benue State.
In a statement issued via the agency’s Facebook page on Tuesday said the suspects include; David Uvaa, Patrick Adakole,Cyprian Aloo, Michael Anaambe, Okti Clinton, Ibi Rafael, Anaamba George, Msaasha John, Oche Edache, Anaker Terpase Tanko Japhat and Ayalgo Lorfa. Others are, Success Terzungwe, Lawani Peter, Suunsuter Isaiah, Paul Adewa, Jacob Paul, Ibi Shedrack, Iorkosu Michael, Sheidu Leonard, Terseer Mnenge, Ikyoma Raphael and Igba Ngutor.
Items recovered from them include, mobile phones and One Toyota Corolla. The suspects have made useful statements and will be charged to court as soon as the investigation is concluded.
